Giving Georgians a voice to promote traditional conservative policy, philosophy and principles.
- MISSION - To promote a conservative philosophy of government: - By promoting conservative principles; and - By providing the infrastructure through which those who share our conservative principles can get involved in the political process, run for and be elected to public office, and govern according to our principles when elected.
#45 & #47 Greatest President
President Donald Trump declared Monday that the "golden age of America begins right now" and vowed that the nation's challenges would be "annihilated" by his MAGA movement in a bare-knuckled inaugural address that echoed the themes and grievances of his trademark rally speeches. The 5th District GA GOP extends our heartfelt congratulations on your inauguration as the 47th President of the United States. Your return to the White House marks a significant moment in our nation's history, and we wish you wisdom and strength as you lead our country into this new chapter.
Sincerely, 5th District Republican Party of Georgia

Who We Are
Initially united in 1854 by the promise to abolish slavery, the Republican Party has always stood for freedom, prosperity, and opportunity. Today, as those principles come under attack from the far-left, we are engaged in a national effort to fight for our proven agenda, take our message to every American, grow the party, promote election integrity, and elect Republicans up and down the ballot. The principles of the Republican Party recognize the God-given liberties while promoting opportunity for every American.
Steps to Get Started With The Republican Party
Step 1, Precinct Mass Meeting
The precinct mass meeting is the first step in the political convention process and is held every odd-numbered year as well as in any year with a Presidential election. The mass meeting is the first opportunity for Republican voters to choose their party leadership and present resolutions for the party platform. There are over 429 precincts in Fulton County, each led by a Precinct Executive Committee (Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer) that is voted into office at the Precinct Mass Meeting in an odd-numbered year. A Precinct Committee is the first level of the political organization for the Fulton County Republican Party (FCRP).
Step 2, County Convention
County Conventions are held every odd-numbered year, as well as in any year with a Presidential election. Participants in this convention must have been elected as delegates or alternates at their Precinct Mass Meeting. Non-voting guests are allowed but must sit separately from credentialed delegates.
During a convention held in an odd-numbered year, delegates will vote for their county-level party leadership (Chairman, 1st Vice Chair, Vice Chairs [6], Secretary, Asst. Secretary, Treasurer, Asst. Treasurer), who will then serve two-year terms until the next County Convention. The County Convention is held in one location, during the month of March.
Step 3, District Convention
Approximately one month following the County Convention, delegates will gather for the District Convention. The specific convention a delegate will attend will be based on their U.S. Congressional District. Fulton County is divided into three Congressional Districts, which all overlap with adjacent counties. To attend the District Convention, you must have been elected as a delegate at your county convention. The business conducted is similar to the county convention. Conventions held in odd-numbered years will elect District Executive Committee officers (Chairman, First Vice Chair, Vice Chairs, Secretary, and Treasurer). At all District Conventions, delegates will vote to adopt resolutions.
Step 4, State Convention
Approximately one month following the District Convention, delegates will gather for the GA State Convention. This is a grand convention with over two thousand delegates attending each cycle. This convention may be held anywhere in the State of Georgia, so travel and overnight accommodations may be necessary.
To attend the State Convention, you must have been elected as a delegate at your County Convention. The business conducted is similar to the County and District Conventions. Conventions held in odd-numbered years will elect State Executive Committee officers (Chairman, First Vice Chair, Vice Chairs [?], Secretary, Treasurer). Regardless of the year, delegates will vote to adopt resolutions. Additionally, conventions held in presidential election years will also perform the function of electing delegates to the Republican National Convention.
