Dear Delegate or Alternate to the 5th District Convention, Congratulations on participating in our Republican party and being elected a delegate or alternate to our 5th District Republican Convention. It will be held on Saturday, April 19, at the Double Tree Hotel, 3400 Norman Berry Drive, Atlanta, GA 30344.

2025 State Convention
We intend to move through the agenda efficiently to respect your time commitment.
Political Positions: Persons wishing to hold an office should submit: JOHN GUESTName, address, and voter ID numberBe an active member of your county party.List the office you are seeking.Provide a brief political resume. *Upload information in WORD or PDF file format on the 5th district website on or before Friday, April 11, before 5:00 pm. Resolutions: If you want to submit a resolution for consideration, please also submit it for consideration by Friday, April 11. The state party rules apply to the submission of resolutions. Limit them to 250 words. Please also submit any suggested changes to by-laws by the same date. A timely submission will allow us to distribute the information and allow you to vote with prior information on each person and item. Thank you.
We will elect officers for the 5th district that will contribute to the critical election of state officers to support President Trump, including governor and Federal office elections for representatives and a US senator to replace John Ossoff. You may wonder why we altered the date for our convention from April 25. It is a logistical decision to make attendance for all easier. Though it is the day before Easter, the next Saturday, the NRA convention is in town, and President Trump may speak that morning, which would tie up traffic and prevent some who may want to attend from coming to our convention.
